When people hear about how watches are made and what goes into a watch, many times that ask what a watch movement is. Watch movements are the parts needed for the watch to work. Of course, there are many types and brands of watch movements. A lot depends on the brand and what kind they use. In addition, with a watch movement, the price list also varies. What many people don’t realize is that the holder is just as important as the movements themselves.

On the Swiss watch movements, there is the word Swiss etched in the parts as well as the logo. With the Rolex watch movement, in order to get it replaced many places, you need to know what the reference number and calibers are. In fact, many Rolex owners don’t even know that there are reference numbers in their watches.

There are a couple other well-known watch movements. One of them is the ETA watch movement. ETA watch movements are mechanical movements. Some of the watches that ETA movements may be in are certain Rolex watches, or some Swiss watches. Another type of movement is ISA watch movements. ISA movements are quartz movements. These are used in many pocket watches. Lastly, there is Ebel watch movements. Ebel watch movement is a watch that is known for it superiority to other watches. It is known as “the architects of time.” Regardless of which type of movement you choose, it will be great. Almost all companies today, have great craftsmanship.
