Citizen Watch Company has been making Citizen watches since 1924 and have been making them ever since. Originally, the owners just called the company Citizen as a reminder that they would be 'close to the hearts of people everywhere', but later changed it to Citizen Watch Company. Their watches are "firsts in the world" in many categories from making the world's slimmest LCD, the first voice recognition watch and the world's first professional dive watch with an electronic depth sensor. Their most recent innovation is the introduction of their Citizen Eco Drive watches, which are light powered watches fueled by natural or artificial light and run forever.

There are a few different members of the Citizen Skyhawk watches group such as Skyhawk Black Eagle, Skyhawk Black Eagle Rubber, Skyhawk Blue Angels, Skyhawk Titanium and Skyhawk Nightshift. The price on this group ranges from $300 to $600 depending on the style. This group has some Citizen Titanium watches as part of their family. Citizen watches off you a choice of their variety of Citizen Watch bands. Some are stainless steel; some are leather, rubber or silicon.

The watches in the Skyhawk group are also Citizen Eco-drive watches. The titanium case is lightweight and includes a titanium bracelet with a push button safety fold over the clasp. Most of the Citizen watches, even the cheapest Citizen watches, have a 5-year warranty. Citizen welcomes you to send any defective Citizen watches to their Citizen Watch repair division. On the subject of cheap watches, many places and stores sell discount Citizen watches. Many times the watch companies will sell discount watches that are an older model or discontinued.
