Luminox

Luminox is a brand of watches made is Switzerland, with the first watch made in 1989. The 'Swiss' made Luminox watches were actually first made by American men who were attempting to make a sports watch, and later changed the design to meet the specifications required by the US Navy Seals. This group of watches, called Original SEAL dive series, was completed in 1994. When the public seen the success of these high-tech watches, they instantly wanted them for other groups(policemen, sportsmen and military groups) as well as the general public.

The Luminox 301 Special Forces Black men's watch gives you a stainless steel case with a crown protector, unidirectional stainless steel ratcheting bezel with luminous dot at 12 o'clock, black dial, scratch resistant mineral glass crystal, Swiss Quartz movement, date function, PU Dive strap with signature buckle. Luminox 8401 has many of the same features as the Luminox 301 with the additions of Tritium gas illumination system on markers, hands and second hand, multi-jeweled Swiss Quartz movement, polyurethane dive strap. This Luminox watch was developed for and tested by the US Navy Seals.

The Luminox 1580 series dive watch has a stainless steel 39 mm case with screw in case back & screw down crown, tempered scratch resistant mineral glass crystal, Swiss quartz movement with date function, black polished dial and solid link stainless steel bracelet (band) with a butterfly clasp. There is also a 10-year warranty on the lithium battery. Very similar is the Luminox 211 rubber/Ani-Digi, with a few variations such as the black PU dive strap with signature buckle, date function and EOL feature and 4-year battery warranty.

Most of the Luminox watch bands are either the dive straps or stainless steel bracelet, even on the cheap Luminox watches. The Luminox Air Force Stealth Pilot is a professional watch designed and manufactured for F-117 Nighthawk pilots. It features black PVD plated stainless steel case with a crown protector and screw in case back and screw down crown and is water resistant to 220 meters.
