Martin Braun is a very talented watchmaker from Germany. His father was a goldsmith and watch case producer. When Martin graduated, he worked on a creation of his own: a modern table clock with an eight-day movement, a Republican calendar date, an accurately running moon phase and a time equation that he developed. He went into business with his father and they began restoring old luxury timepieces from other companies and encasing them in their own one-of-a-kind cases after putting their own mechanical touches to them.

In 2000, Braun finished a 5-year project, a timepiece called the EOS model, which showed the times of sunrise and sunset. He then began designing models and brands of Martin Braun watches such as the 'Korona', a line that captures the sun and indicates day and night, the 'NBY', and the 'Astraios', which was known as the most complicated watch. Today, Martin Braun has completed the EOS watch and the EOS Boreas watch collection in addition to his own Martin Braun classic watch collection.
